Artist Bio

Alecia Rossano is a classically trained figurative sculptor from Seattle. She earned her Bachelor of Fine
Arts from Scripps College and her Master of Fine Arts from the graduate school of the New York
Academy of Art. She has also studied in Florence, Italy, which inspired her love of Renaissance and
baroque art. As a professor at the DigiPen Institute of Technology, she led the development of their
MFA in digital art and directed that program from 2012 - 2015. She taught Sculpture, Figure Drawing, Art History and Anatomy at DigiPen from 2004-2025. Currently, she instructs at the Gage Academy and Kirkland Arts Center in Seattle. She is represented by the AvA gallery in Italy and Dubai. https://avagallery.it/shop/
